CBDT has recently issued Circular No. 15/2020 dt 22nd July, 2020, prescribing the procedure for notification of Sovereign Wealth Funds(SWF) for claiming exemption u/s 10(23FE) for income from investment made in specified infrastructure business: https://incometaxindia.gov.in/communications/circular/circular_15_2020.pdf… (1/3) In terms of the procedure prescribed, the SWF shall make an application in Form I with the Member (Legislation), CBDT, during the financial year 2020-21 & thereafter, to the Member, CBDT having supervision & control over the work of Foreign Tax & Tax Research Division (2/3)

Such notified SWF shall be required to file return of income along with the audit report. It shall also be required to electronically file a quarterly statement of investments made during the quarter within one month from the end of each quarter in Form II. (3/3)
